The Community Business Partnership is thrilled to announce the top three winners of its 2006 Business Plan Contest.  In a splendid awards ceremony over lunch at the new Waterford in Springfield, prize packages valued at over $5000 were awarded to:

          Heidi Willard of Scrapbooks That Teach,

          Monica Tomasso of Health e-Lunch Kids, and

          Shanel Evans of DIVA Shop LLC (shown on right)

Congratulations to Heidi, Monica and Shanel, as well as the other contestants who were awarded Certificates of Participation.  All contestants received feedback and helpful comments on their business plans from a team of five judges, and were treated to a delicious luncheon at the brand new Waterford.  They were joined by representatives of the thirty businesses who provided cash and prizes for each winner.  Gold sponsors for the event included Freddie Mac, RSDN, HeliosHR, Solution-Works and Whitewater Families.
